TEHRAN (IQNA) – The United Arab Emirates’ Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced working hours for the holy month of Ramadan.

The working hours during Ramadan will be from 9 am to 2 pm.

The authority has urged all staffers to be punctual during Ramadan.

Under UAE federal rules, there may be exceptions for government officials or staffers who don't necessarily need to sign in to work - depending on their job role, KTimes reported.

It also stressed the need for employees in federal agencies and departments to inform their direct head if they cannot come to office during the month or require emergency leave - in accordance with rules and regulations, so that due process can be followed.
